The mobile companion

Coming soon — the companion is in the final stretch and is included in every Atelier 1 license, so there is nothing extra to buy when it lands. Here is what it does and how it will work.

What it is for

Agents do their best work while you are away from the desk — and that is exactly when one stops to ask a question and sits idle for an hour. The companion puts your agents' status on your phone: who is working, who is done, and above all a push notification the moment one needs you. You read the question and reply from the phone, and your answer lands in the same session on your Mac, as if you had typed it there.

Pairing

Pairing is a QR code shown by the Mac app and scanned by the phone — no account to create, no email to confirm. The pairing is between your two devices; unpairing either side ends it.

What crosses the wire, and what never does

The honest breakdown, which the privacy statement makes in more detail: the companion carries agent status and your agent conversation — what you can read on the phone — plus the replies you send back. It is encrypted in transit, and the relay holds a rolling buffer of the last 500 events for your room so your phone can catch up on what it missed while it was offline or asleep. That buffer ages out by volume rather than on a clock, so on a quiet room an event can sit there a while.

Your code stays on your Mac: the companion has no file access, and no way to ask for it. It carries bounded terminal snapshots, and it can type into a terminal panel you already have open — the same way you would at the keyboard, which is the point of being able to answer from your phone. What it cannot do is browse your disk or open a session of its own.

When?

Soon, and honestly gated: it ships when it is good, not when the page says so. Every Atelier 1 license includes it on day one — buying now versus buying later changes nothing about what you get.
